The Old Chapel is a lovely place to meet friends, family and colleagues and has recently been completely refurbished . There are two floors. The lower floor has a kitchen, ladies’ and gentlemen’s toilets and plenty of space for sitting down to have coffee, eat or just chat. The kitchen is brand new, has a built-in cooker and dishwasher and place settings for 30 people .
The upper floor is light, spacious and airy. There is games equipment if you feel in the mood for sharpening up your table tennis, pool or table soccer skills. Or you could set out the delicious spread that you’ve prepared downstairs and you can serve alcoholic drinks if you wish. The furniture is very flexible – the tables fold and the chairs stack, so when you’ve finished eating, you can clear the decks for some Strictly Come Dancing action.
If you are hiring the Old Chapel for a business, club, association or society meeting, the upper floor is ideal for spreading out papers and there is a whiteboard for sketching out ideas.
Free parking is available in the Dean and West Street and, a little further away, the Perins and Station Car Parks are on a Pay and Display basis.
